I am lost... Am I the one who is lost, or is it someone else? Whom am I searching for? My lost self? Where is the sound of these waves coming from, the sea or the clash of ideas in my head? I don’t know where I am looking, maybe I don’t even know what I am searching for. Am I dreaming? No, am I living in a dream? I don’t know. The only thing I know is that I am a traveler; maybe a lost traveler, maybe a traveler who doesn’t know what he is searching for, but I have a journey, and I will complete this journey. This is how the journey began.Almost a year ago today, I made one of the most radical decisions of my life and moved abroad. The next stop of this journey was Australia, a stop that is 14,850 km away. Living abroad means encountering different cultures, languages, and lifestyles. Living in a new country can give me a broad perspective and enrich my viewpoint. Tasting different foods, meeting new and different people, and maintaining my life in an unfamiliar environment can help me get to know myself better and develop my adaptability skills. However, this experience also brings some challenges. The cultural adaptation process and being away from my loved ones, and sometimes the feeling of loneliness that comes with looking around and feeling lost, can be the hardest part. But despite all this, living abroad brings me great personal and professional experience and life lessons. This is exactly why I am here. Maybe there will be many more beautiful days and accompanying challenges, but I am ready to fight for it.
