Amedeo Guillet, the " Devil Commander", but also known under the pseudonym of Ahmed Abdallah Al Redai (in Arabic: احمد عبد الله), was an Italian cavarly commander, officer, guerrilla fighter and diplomat.
Under his lead, we had the first example of a multi-ethnical military unit, with 1700 men fighting alongside, the group was composed with Ethiopian, Eritrean and Yemeni natives with italian soldiers and commanders.
Due his guerrilla tactics, the British army put a bounty on his head, but none of his men and the locals ever betrayed him, and they even helped him to survive when he was injured, he lived several adventures, comparable to an espionage movie, but it would be too long to tell -
He was a brave man ahead of his times, with the right to deserve some tributes. Rest in piece, commander!
