Description

Chalice started in Jamaica in the 1980s. By 1981 they were a big local success and in 1982 debut album "Blasted" spawned 2 hits in Jamaica. "I Still Love You" stayed at number one for seven weeks. "Good to be there" broke the top ten the next year. Their second album "Standard Procedure" also became a success with the songs "I´m Trying" and "Cant Dub". For three years Chalice toured Europe but they never became as popular in Europe as they were in Jamaica. Chalice's sixth album "Si Mi Ya" was voted 1990's album of the year in Jamaica. Chalice is probably best known for their performances at the Sunsplash Reggae Music Festivals. Their music is a free-style and always provide a party vibe that is irresistible.
