During this time, he’s been inducted into the Texas Heritage Songwriters Hall of Fame... had 4 LPs hit # 1 on the Blues charts, 1 at #2... and won 4 Grammys. In 2020, his 63rd year of performing, he won his 4th Grammy, this one for Best Traditional Blues Album: Tall, Dark, & Handsome (his 26th), an LP that many people feel is one of the best of his career.
