Do you know about the holidays being celebrated in Israel right now? 🥳

Many Christians are unaware of these holidays even though they can be found in their Bible!

For example, the holiday that will begin tomorrow - Sukkot, is known as the Feast of Tabernacles in the Bible.

The simplest explanation for how this holiday is celebrated is this: Imagine setting up a tent or a shelter in your yard or on your balcony. Then you sleep, eat and hang out in it for a week.⛺️

That’s pretty much what people all over Israel are doing right now. They set up a temporary structure known as a “Sukkah”. These structures are decorated, and have an open roof through which you can see the stars. ✨

Then they spend the week long holiday eating, sleeping and hanging out in it. 🍴😴🥳

This is done as a reminder of God’s faithfulness to His people during their sojourn in the wilderness after being freed from slavery in Egypt.🏜️

God took care of them then, and He is taking care of them now.
