Al Jassmi’s legal team submitted phone screenshots to Egypt’s Interior Ministry on June 5, strengthening the case. The EACA condemned the forgery as a “blatant violation” and confirmed that composer Bahaa Hosny, who had filed an unrelated complaint against Al Jassmi, conspired with staff to falsify the document.
Hosny and the implicated employees now face legal action.
