This video provides an overview of early '90s Thai dance-pop music, influenced by Western Swingbeat (New Jack Swing). Approximately 90% of the songs featured in the video are primarily classified as dance-pop, with only a few categorized as R&B and Hip-Hop.

Thus, it’s evident why the sounds of some of them were not fairly close to their original genre. Additionally, the limitations in song production at that time, such as having dated equipment, were also a reason for the above.
