"I'll Be Seeing You" written by Sammy Fain and Irving Kahal.in 1938 was recorded by Frank Sinatra in 1940 when he was the featured vocalist with Tommy Dorsey and His Orchestra. Because the 1942–44 musicians' strike prevented Sinatra, who had become a popular singer, from recording new material, the song was reissued as a single in 1944, peaking at No. 4 on the pop chart. Sinatra was to record the song again on May 1, 1961 as part of his Reprise album, I Remember Tommy, & on September 11, 1961 for his final Capitol album, Point of No Return, released in 1962.
