Gregory Isaacs, known as The Cool Ruler, was one of the most influential voices in reggae history. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, in 1951, he began his career in the 1960s with The Concords before rising to fame with his smooth, laid-back singing style. His hit song Night Nurse became an international classic, solidifying his legacy in reggae music. With over 500 albums, he remains one of the most prolific reggae artists of all time. Gregory passed away in 2010 from lung cancer, but his music continues to inspire fans worldwide.
