Based out of North Carolina, U.S.A, Imani Uzuri is a singer, songwriter and above all, a musician of travellers' spirit with an abiding love for Sufi and its sub genres. Skimming and soaking up melodies from Eastern Europe, Brazil, Ethiopia, Morocco, and Asia, and allowing them to coalesce with her own rural traditions,Uzuri drives her musical journey forward with her recently released acoustic album- 'The Gypsy Diaries'.
