Kamikazee refers to a Filipino rock band that was formed in 2000. The band gained significant popularity for their unique sound, energetic performances, and often humorous and irreverent lyrics. The group's music blends elements of rock, punk, and pop, making them a prominent figure in the Philippine music scene.

The original lineup of Kamikazee consisted of Jay Contreras (vocals), Jomal Linao (guitar and vocals), Led Tuyay (guitar), Puto Astete (bass), and Bords Burdeos (drums). They released their debut album, "Kamikazee," in 2002, which included hit tracks like "Narda," "Tagpuan," and "Ambisyoso."

Over the years, Kamikazee released several successful albums, such as "Maharot" (2006), "Long Time Noisy" (2009), and "Romantico" (2012). Some of their other popular songs include "Huling Sayaw," "Chicksilog," and "Doo Bidoo."

In 2015, the band announced an indefinite hiatus, much to the disappointment of their fans. This hiatus allowed the members to pursue individual projects and spend time with their families. Despite the hiatus, Kamikazee remains a beloved and iconic band in the Philippines, and their music continues to be enjoyed by fans of various generations.
