''Afrika Shox'' was released in mid-1999 as the first single off Leftfield's second studio album ''Rythm And Stealth'', featuring Afrika Bambaataa on vocals. The song was a hit, reaching its highest peak on the UK at #7, and #11 on Norway. Its music video was directed by Chris Cunningham (director of Madonna's ''Frozen'' and Björk's ''All Is Full Of Love'') and depicted a man desperately walking around the streets of a city and breaking his extremities like porcelain. In 2001, the song was part of the soundtrack for ''Vanilla Sky'', remake of the 1997 spanish film ''Abre Los Ojos''. For the movie's DVD, a music video using the song and scenes from the movie was made by Dan-O-Rama.
