I wish we didn’t have “darkest hours.” I wish the tempest didn’t rage and the sky was never overshadowed with darkness. There can be so much pain in those moments and yet, they are necessary for our learning and growth.

The moments when I’ve felt buried in sadness and discouragement are the very times when I have felt carried by Jesus. I know the Savior can calm the storms of our lives and bring peace that stills our souls. He will never leave us and He will always carry us.

May this song reassure and remind us of the Savior’s loving, redeeming efforts in our lives daily.
