Hey, fellas. It's been a while. I've been going through a hard time due to tendinitis that I got from my previous job. Unfotunate, but I'm already under physiotherapy, so hopefully I'll be okay. I had to take a break from playing due to pain issues, but now I'm managing to get back to playing again. Baby steps! Thank you for all your support so far and for the nice and encouraging comments on the Animals As Leaders Odyssey I previously posted! If you haven't watched it, be welcome to take a look.

This song, despite being minimalist in terms of harmony, is explosively mind-blowing rhythm-wise! I was having the time of my life (not the best one tho) trying to get to an understanding of the patterns and my head hurts just from remembering this.

Digging up on YouTube, I found @SimonSchroederDrums with a nice drum cover of this song! He provided one set of rhythmic patterns he used and that opened my eyes to another way of facing songs this complex. Then, I wrote down the entire rhythmic session of the song and sight-read the whole thing! The video you're watching was recorded while I was reading my notes (you can easily see that). I usually am a big fan of simply memorising things to work my brain up, but I preferred using the good and old reading this time (otherwise I'd melt my brains out xD). I will be back to posting, not as often as I used to, but I will definitely be more around since I am recovering from this sad episode of my life. Can't say it happens, but happened anyway. Now let's fix thing up! See you on the next video.
