I know this is on and from their own album, but I was first introduced to Play Dead, specifically this song, from the 80's Gothic Rock compilation album some 10 years ago or so when I was a music sponge. "Gothic Rock" wasn't always some gloomy, sad synthwave music like I once thought. It was a life changer when I heard the likes of these guys, Bauhaus, Alien Sex Fiend, Xmal Deutschland, etc. Since, I've always had a soft spot for this song, and decided randomly to give it a shot.
