** I DO NOT CLAIM OWNERSHIP OF THE CONTENTS OF THIS VIDEO **
** I DO NOT MONETIZE MY CHANNEL **
These contents were upscaled using AI software to 4K and re-edited using additional footage from TECHNOIR as well as multiple channels on this platform that are freely available and have been for many years. Whether that in itself is right to do, what I’ve done is put together those existing “clips” with audio combined with RETRO:ACTIVE 2 : RARE & REMIXED “Goodbye Horses Extended Mix” and Goodbye Horses Acapella.

**** NOTES: ****
The beauty of the Playful Horses is that there's nothing else I've come across in nature that evokes a feeling of freedom, innocence, and longing.
Diane Luckey (Q Lazzarus) was a singer from New Jersey, USA. In the '80's she moved to New York City and began making music with her band, Q Lazzarus and The Resurrection. She worked as a cab driver to make a living. She also worked as a live-in housekeeper and au pair for a businessman at the time and would record music at his home. She happened to pick up director Jonathan Demme for a cab fare one day during a blizzard and played him her band's demo tape in the cab. "Oh my God, what is this and who are you?" was his response. He then used her music in several of his films including Something Wild, Married To The Mob, Philadelphia (which she both appeared and sang), and The Silence of The Lambs.
By the mid 1990's Diane had all but disappeared from the public eye. She later worked as a bus driver, one of many of her storied history of occupations over the years.
She passed away July 19, 2022 from sepsis after having broken her leg. Her memory and music continues to live on.
A documentary film was released in 2025, "Goodbye Horses: The Many Lives of Q Lazzarus". The soundtrack is amazing.
