Slim Dusty and the original version of his worldwide million selling 1957/58 hit. The label also credits Dick Carr and His Bushlanders, I think they'd gone off to find some beer during the recording. UK #3
In 2000 Slim recorded his 100th album, the first commercial artist ever to do this (Cliff Richard has also achieved the feat subsequently) and uniquely all for the same label EMI. Slim sang Waltzing Matilda at the closing ceremony of the 2000 Sydney Olympics, Slim died in 2003. The b side 'Once when I was mustering' also uploaded
