Australia's wild horses, known as "brumbies", once abandoned by settlers, are now thriving within Australia's rich environments, from the deserts to the snowy Australian Alps. These horses, though not native, have become a significant part of the ecosystem and like all animals, face a daily battle of survival against keen predators.

Dingoes and red-bellied black snakes lurk in the grass stalking their prey for the optimal chance to strike. But does an animal not native to Australia, where their settlement has damaged native plant life, require protection and conservation?
